Abilitas Hospitality actively promotes measures to improve the overall standard of group hotels and ryokans through the training programs of the Abilitas Hospitality University. We host a range of periodic workshops, starting with the general manager meeting, to hone specializations and expertise.

General Managers' Meeting

Twice a year, we convene a meeting of all group hotel and ryokan general managers together with Abilitas Hospitality personnel for a two-day discussion of various issues. Outside speakers are also invited to give presentations on timely themes.

Executive Management Training

Management Training

The HR Round Table is designed to develop the skills of personnel directors and enable sharing of the latest legal and other information, with the aim of fostering human resources that drive corporate revenues from the standpoints of “people” and “organization.”

Finance Round Table

Under the rubric of "leadership by the accounting department," the Finance Round Table is designed to develop the accounting directors that are the prime movers of hotels and ryokans. A short course for purchasing and tenants is also offered.

Regional Sales Meeting

Regional Sales Meetings are held in each area for sales directors and coordinators to discuss practical and immediate measures that can be taken to resolve sales issues. On the second day, joint sales and cross selling are also covered.

Trade Show

Trade Shows are held annually in Tokyo and the Kansai area, to which travel and planning companies are invited. Each hotel has its own booth to bolster its marketing. A theme is established at each show to bring out the attractiveness of each hotel. At a social event following the business negotiations, the Abilitas Hospitality Awards are presented to people who have made outstanding contributions in their areas.

Web-Marketing Seminar

Web-Marketing Seminars are held twice a year, with persons from Power Interactive Corp. invited as speakers on current themes. Topics covered include analysis by access log data, and individual website-related consultations are held.

Menu Creativity Contest

As an intensive study of techniques for kitchen staffers, this contest is held once a year, with Hidemasa Yamamoto as a chief judge. The award-winning creations become intra-group products.
